Risk
What is Beta?
How much a stock tends to move for each 1% move in the overall market.
A beta of 1.5 means the stock has historically moved about 1.5% for every 1% move in the S&P 500. Beta below 1 means less sensitivity. It measures market risk only, not company-specific risk.
