What is Form 10-Q?

The quarterly report US public companies file for the first three quarters of each fiscal year.

A 10-Q carries unaudited financial statements and management's discussion for the quarter. There is no 10-Q for the fourth quarter — those results are inside the 10-K, which is why fourth-quarter figures on this site are derived as the full year minus the first nine months.
